Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 1, 2026
Privacy matters to us.
OCDBees is built to help people organize work, not to watch them work.
We do not use your activity to build advertising profiles. We do not sell personal information. We do not operate an advertising network. As of the effective date of this policy, OCDBees does not intentionally deploy Google Tag Manager, third-party behavioral analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking on our website or application.
We collect and process only the information reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and operate OCDBees or information you intentionally choose to provide.
This Privacy Policy explains how OCDBees LLC (“OCDBees,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our website, application, APIs, integrations, plugins, or related services.
1. Information You Provide to OCDBees
Account and Organization Information
When an OCDBees account or workspace is created, we may receive information such as:
- your name;
- email address;
- company or organization name;
- account and workspace role;
- invitation and membership status;
- subscription and seat information; and
- other account information you intentionally provide.
We use this information to create and administer your account and workspace.
Workspace Content
OCDBees stores the information that you and other authorized users intentionally place into the platform.
Depending on how you use OCDBees, this may include:
- clients;
- projects;
- tasks;
- task assignments;
- due dates;
- priorities or urgency;
- notes and comments;
- files;
- links;
- user and team information; and
- other project-management content.
This information belongs to you or your organization. We process it to provide the Service.
We do not use private workspace content for advertising.
Support and Feedback
If you contact us for support, report a problem, participate in testing, or provide feedback, we receive the information you choose to include in that communication.
We use it to respond to you, troubleshoot problems, improve OCDBees, and maintain appropriate support records.
2. Subscription and Payment Information
OCDBees may receive information necessary to manage subscriptions, such as:
- subscription status;
- plan or product information;
- purchased seat quantity;
- billing status;
- trial and renewal dates;
- transaction identifiers; and
- limited customer or billing information provided by our commerce or payment providers.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.
OCDBees does not intentionally collect or store complete payment card numbers or card security codes.
Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
3. Technical and Security Information
Operating a secure online service requires limited technical information to be processed automatically.
This may include:
- IP address;
- browser or device information;
- authentication events;
- request timestamps;
- session information;
- error information;
- server and application logs;
- security events; and
- information necessary to prevent abuse or investigate technical problems.
We use this information to operate, authenticate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain OCDBees.
We do not use this operational information for behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking.
4. Cookies
OCDBees may use cookies or similar browser storage when they are necessary to:
- keep you signed in;
- maintain your session;
- remember essential account or interface settings;
- protect against fraud or unauthorized access;
- operate checkout or subscription functionality; or
- provide another feature you have requested.
OCDBees does not intentionally use advertising cookies or behavioral tracking cookies.
Third-party services you deliberately interact with, such as payment processors or connected applications, may use their own cookies according to their own policies.
5. ChatGPT and Connected Applications
OCDBees may allow you to connect your account with ChatGPT and other third-party applications.
Nothing is shared with a connected application simply because the integration exists. Access begins when you choose to connect or authorize the integration and use it.
When you ask a connected application to work with OCDBees, OCDBees may receive information necessary to authenticate the request and understand the action being requested.
OCDBees may then provide the minimum information reasonably necessary to fulfill that request, subject to the permissions of the authenticated OCDBees user.
For example, if you ask ChatGPT to retrieve your OCDBees tasks, the integration may receive the task information necessary to answer that request. If you ask it to update an OCDBees task, information necessary to identify and perform that change may be exchanged.
Connecting ChatGPT does not give ChatGPT unrestricted access to every OCDBees workspace or record. OCDBees access remains governed by the authenticated user’s account, tenant, role, and permissions.
OCDBees may maintain audit records showing actions performed through an integration, including information such as the authenticated user, originating integration, action performed, affected records, and result.
OCDBees does not intentionally request an entire ChatGPT conversation when only specific information is required to perform an OCDBees action.
ChatGPT and other connected services are operated by third parties and have their own privacy policies and data practices. Information transmitted to those services may be processed by those providers under their applicable terms.
You may disconnect a connected application at any time. Disconnecting prevents future authorized access through that connection.
6. Information We Do Not Want You to Provide
OCDBees is not designed to collect or store certain categories of highly sensitive or regulated information.
Unless we expressly provide a feature intended to handle it, please do not submit:
- complete payment card information;
- Social Security numbers or similar government identifiers;
- passwords;
- API keys;
- authentication secrets;
- MFA or one-time passcodes;
- protected health information subject to HIPAA; or
- other highly regulated information requiring specialized safeguards.
7. How We Use Information
We use information described in this policy to:
- provide OCDBees;
- create and maintain accounts and workspaces;
- authenticate users;
- enforce workspace permissions;
- store and retrieve user-created content;
- process subscriptions and seat changes;
- provide requested integrations;
- perform actions users request;
- maintain logs and audit trails;
- provide customer support;
- identify and resolve technical problems;
- protect OCDBees and its users from abuse, fraud, and security threats;
- meet legal and accounting obligations; and
- improve the reliability and usability of the Service.
We do not use personal information for third-party behavioral advertising.
8. When We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may provide limited information to service providers that help us operate OCDBees, including categories of providers such as:
- cloud hosting and infrastructure providers;
- email and communications providers;
- commerce and payment processors;
- authentication and security providers;
- technical support providers; and
- third-party applications that you intentionally connect to OCDBees.
These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary for the services they provide.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- comply with law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process;
- protect the security or integrity of OCDBees;
- investigate fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity;
- protect the rights or safety of OCDBees, our users, or others; or
- complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and privacy protections.
9. Data Retention
We try to keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed.
Account and Workspace Data
Account information and workspace content are generally retained while your OCDBees account or workspace remains active.
Following a verified account-deletion request, we aim to remove applicable information from active systems within 30 days, unless we are required to retain particular information for legal, security, accounting, dispute-resolution, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Residual copies may remain in encrypted or protected backups for up to 90 days before aging out through normal backup rotation.
Security and Technical Logs
Routine security, server, and technical logs are generally retained for up to 90 days.
We may retain a particular record longer when reasonably necessary to investigate a security incident, prevent abuse, resolve a technical issue, or comply with law.
Audit History
Activity and audit records associated with an OCDBees workspace may be retained with that workspace because they form part of the organization’s operational history and help users understand changes made to their information.
They are handled according to the same account and workspace deletion process described above.
Support Communications
Support requests and related communications may be retained for up to 24 months after the issue is resolved so that we can provide continuity, identify recurring problems, and document how requests were handled.
Financial and Business Records
Certain subscription, transaction, tax, accounting, or business records may be retained for the period required by applicable law.
Payment processors may retain payment-related information according to their own policies and legal obligations.
10. Your Choices and Controls
Depending on your account and applicable law, you may be able to:
- access your personal information;
- correct inaccurate information;
- update your account profile;
- export information;
- delete information;
- request deletion of your account;
- manage workspace membership;
- manage connected applications; and
- disconnect ChatGPT or another integration.
Workspace administrators may control information associated with organization-managed accounts.
If your OCDBees account was provided by an employer or another organization, that organization may control certain workspace data and account-management decisions.
For privacy requests that cannot be completed directly through the product, contact support@ocdbees.com.
We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
11. State, National, and International Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights concerning your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or restrict certain processing of your information.
OCDBees will honor applicable privacy rights where required by law.
We do not discriminate against users for exercising legally protected privacy rights.
Because OCDBees does not sell personal information or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or behavioral-advertising program to opt out of through OCDBees.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information entrusted to OCDBees.
Access to workspace information is governed by authenticated accounts and applicable tenant, role, and user permissions.
No system connected to the internet can guarantee absolute security, but minimizing unnecessary collection is itself part of our security approach.
If we become aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will respond and provide notifications where required by applicable law.
13. Children’s Privacy
OCDBees is intended for businesses, organizations, professionals, and their authorized teams.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to OCDBees inappropriately, contact us at support@ocdbees.com.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as OCDBees evolves, our integrations change, or legal requirements change.
If we make a material change to how we handle personal information, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate.
The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
